Just a little note to thank all those who helped me build Le Délice…..

If you do not know, the building was originally a very rundown bakery. Thanks to an amazing team of volunteers and underpaid tradesmen we managed in 3 months to gut and transform it into what you see today. Without the support and optimism of friends and family over the past few years I never would have believed it possible.

To the builders and designers: Christian, Croaker, Ozzy Kate, Bill, Charlie and Andrea Adam, Miles and Lisa Bright, Gus, Robyn, Jonny Barr, Gus, Bear, James, Toff, Richie, Steve Thompson, Mike the Tile, Jon scone, Tibot, Chouchou, Jon Whittle, Manu, Guy, Sarah, Zoe, Dave, Tim, Nicki, Ruth McNab, Katie Moore, Rene, Sylvia, Cat, Caity, Sladey, Olivia and Dax.

And to two families: Yvette, Jo and Lily on the French side and Alastair, Simon, Katie, Paul, Julie and last but by no means least Hilary or “Colonel paint” as we have come to know her from the McInnes clan!

Your boundless energy and generosity was remarkable and unforgettable.

I would also like to thank our numerous and varied staff who’ve worked their socks off for me while I’ve experimented and learnt and those friends who’ve been roped in to help out when all they did was pop in for a cheeky beer!

Not forgetting Roy and Louise for believing in my idea and all the fabulous clients who’ve supported my business since its opening with hearty eating and heavy drinking…you know who you are!

And finally,  Listingslab Productions for all their technical support and this (as I’m sure you’ll all agree) awesome website. If it wasn’t for you I’d still be in the technological dark ages and no doubt flyering by hand!!

Writing this, I realised just how many of you have helped to build my dream. I could not have done it without you.
